Kerry Whorton Cooper

Kerry Whorton Cooper is a venture advisor and a third-generation New Mexican who manages a small farm in Sonoma. On her farm, she produces small batch olive oil and wine, and grows a surplus of vegetables. With a career spanning over two decades, Cooper has held significant roles including the President & COO of Rothy’s, a company known for its eco-friendly, stylish shoes, and CEO of Choose Energy, part of Red Ventures. Her extensive background in marketing includes work with top consumer brands, enhancing her profile in the business community. Cooper is an Entrepreneur-in-Residence (EIR) at Harvard Business School and currently serves on the boards of PG&E, Fernish, and Treau. Her past board memberships include BevMo!, Choose Energy, and Weddington Way (GPS), and she was an Advisory Board member for Wirecutter (NY Times). In 2020, the National Retail Foundation recognized her as one of the 5 People Shaping Retail.
