A New Way of Life Reentry Project

A New Way of Life Reentry Project is dedicated to supporting formerly incarcerated individuals as they rebuild their lives. The organization provides housing, case management, pro bono legal services, advocacy, and leadership development. It operates the S.A.F.E. Housing Network, which supports individuals nationwide and has 31 authorized members across 18 states and 4 countries. The network has provided housing to 287 individuals and reentry services to over 3,890 individuals. It offers leadership training programs and has a family reunification team that provides pro bono direct client representation in Family Law and Probate Court. The organization hosts the Justice on Trial Film Festival and Testif-i events, and provides free legal clinics to help people reduce, reclassify, or expunge their criminal convictions. The organization has a strong focus on empowering formerly incarcerated women and providing them with the resources they need to succeed.
