Vinayak Nagpal

Vinayak Nagpal co-founded Zendar in May 2017, focusing on the development of advanced imaging radars for autonomous systems. Prior to founding Zendar, he developed instrumentation for radio astronomy imaging, contributing to significant projects such as capturing the first sub-millimeter images of the black hole at the center of the Milky Way. Nagpal holds a PhD in Electrical Engineering from UC Berkeley and has held prestigious research positions at the Harvard Smithsonian Center for Astrophysics and Nokia Bell Labs. His expertise spans across both the engineering and astronomical fields, making significant impacts in technology development for space and autonomous systems.
