Since launching clinical immersions in March 2020, Wake Network has treated over 250 patients, specializing in psilocybin-assisted therapies for conditions such as traumatic brain injury (TBI), depression, anxiety, and PTSD. The company uses sustainable feedback loops in fungi production to create a circular economy and generate zero waste, supported by an all-women mycology team and decentralized farming initiatives in Jamaica. Wake Network is building a facility in Jamaica to produce federally approved, lab-verified psilocybin and is bioengineering enzymatic modifiers for psychedelic compounds. Their medicinal mushrooms are organic, free of fillers, sustainably sourced, and tested for active compounds. The company partners with innovative leaders and investors to produce natural medicines using advanced technology, aiming to make psychedelic therapies the first line of treatment for mental health and accessible to all. Wake Network has received conditional approval for the world’s first microdosing clinical trial and successfully completed the first legal psilocybin mushroom import into the United States. Additionally, they received a Certificate of Drug Registration for microdose formulation in Jamaica, and their subsidiary, MagicBio Research Inc., received a Health Canada exemption for research on psilocybin and psilocin biosynthesis. Wake Network has also announced a research collaboration with the Lieber Institute for Brain Development.
