Christie Bryant Kuhns

Christie Bryant Kuhns has established a notable career in leadership, law, and community service. She currently holds the position of President & CEO and serves as the Vice Chair of the YWCA Board of Directors. Kuhns is also a board member at Bethesda, Inc., and has been actively involved in various other boards including the Ohio Poverty Law Center, the Library Foundation of Cincinnati and Hamilton County, and the Major League Baseball Cincinnati Reds Diversity Advisory Board. Her commitment to community service is evident from her 16 years of volunteering in the Avondale Community and her roles on multiple nonprofit boards.

Kuhns’ educational background includes a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology and a Juris Doctorate from the University of Cincinnati, where she was also part of the Moot Court Honor Board and inducted into the Order of Barristers. Her professional journey includes practicing law at a major law firm and a Fortune 500 company, and serving as an Ohio State Representative in the 131st General Assembly. She furthered her experience in the healthcare sector at UC Health as Vice President of Operations and Community Relations, and Chief of Staff to the Chief Operating Officer. Her exemplary leadership and service have earned her numerous accolades, including the Jeffrey Hurwitz Young Alumni Outstanding Achievement Award, recognition as a ‘Forty Under 40’ by the Cincinnati Business Courier, and honors from the Ohio Legislative Black Caucus, the United Way of Greater Cincinnati, and the Cincinnati NAACP.
