Carrie L. Bourdow

Carrie L. Bourdow has been serving as the President and Chief Executive Officer of Trevena, Inc. since October 2018 and was appointed Chair of the Board in November 2023. She joined Trevena in May 2015 and has held several senior roles within the company, including Chief Commercial Officer and Executive Vice President and Chief Operating Officer. Prior to her tenure at Trevena, Bourdow was the Vice President of Marketing at Cubist Pharmaceuticals, Inc., where she led the launch strategy and marketing for five acute care hospital pharmaceuticals, generating over $1 billion in annual revenues. She also spent over two decades at Merck & Co., Inc., holding various senior positions across multiple therapeutic areas. Additionally, Bourdow has served on the boards of several other biopharmaceutical companies, including Sesen Bio and Nabriva Therapeutics plc.
