Colin McSwiggen

Colin McSwiggen serves as a Venture Partner and is a Visiting Assistant Professor at New York University’s Courant Institute of Mathematical Sciences. His academic interests span DeepTech, FinTech, artificial intelligence, and technologies that enhance scientific research, with a research focus on probability, mathematical physics, and machine learning theory. Previously, McSwiggen was an Associate at PhaseCapital LP in Boston, engaging in engineering and strategy research. He is also a co-founder of Point Source Youth, a nonprofit dedicated to ensuring housing security for young people across the United States. McSwiggen holds bachelor’s degrees in mathematics and physics from MIT, a master’s degree in engineering from Imperial College London, and a PhD in applied mathematics from Brown University. His educational background is further enriched by studies and appointments at prestigious institutions such as Cambridge University, Sorbonne University, and the University of Tokyo.
