Alex Katz

Alex Katz, originally from Baltimore, Maryland, is the Chief Growth Officer who has built a notable career in finance and strategic growth. He attended Dartmouth College in New Hampshire before moving to San Francisco in 2001. Alex now lives in Los Altos, California with his wife, Katherine, and their two daughters. The family enjoys a range of outdoor activities, and they have a German Shepherd/Husky mix named Crockett. Alex is particularly fond of road cycling, skiing, trail running, hiking, kayaking, and actively participates in coaching his daughters’ sports teams. Professionally, Alex has a rich history in the finance sector. He spent eleven years at Fisher Investments, where he served in various capacities including Group Vice President of Private Client Group Sales, Group Vice President of Trading and Investment Operations, and Group Vice President of Research. Following his tenure at Fisher Investments, Alex worked at Opes Advisors. There, he developed strategic growth initiatives for the Wealth Management and Mortgage Banking businesses, served on the Investment Policy Committee, and was a member of the Executive Vision Team. In addition to his professional endeavors, Alex is dedicated to philanthropy, actively fundraising for the King Ridge Foundation, which supports underprivileged children in the North Bay area.
