Anca Copaescu

Anca Copaescu is the Founder and Chief Executive Officer with over 15 years of experience in the clinical research industry, working with both sponsors and service providers. She previously served as Head of Clinical Outsourcing and Analytics at BioMarin Pharmaceuticals, where she managed and advanced global outsourcing, vendor management, and clinical analytics functions. Anca also worked at PharmaNet Development Group (now inVentiv) and Icon plc, driving strategic corporate development activities. She co-founded eMetagen Corporation, an early-stage drug discovery company, and Ponderas Academic Hospital in Bucharest, Romania, which was later acquired by Regina Maria Health Network. Anca won first prize in the prestigious Steven Burrill Business Plan Competition. She received a BSc in International Business from the Academy of Economic Sciences in Bucharest, Romania, holds an MBA from the University of Pittsburgh Katz Business School and Czech Management School, and earned an MSc in Applied Corporate Finance from the University of Wisconsin Madison. Anca is a passionate reader, writer, history lover, and global traveler.
