Henry Cisneros

Henry Cisneros has had a distinguished career in both public service and business. He made history as the first Latino mayor of San Antonio, serving in a role that positioned him as a key figure in urban development and policy. Later, he served as the Secretary of Housing and Urban Development under President Bill Clinton, where he was responsible for initiatives that aimed to improve America’s housing needs and urban policy. Beyond his governmental work, Cisneros also held significant roles in the private sector, including as the President and COO of Univision, a major Spanish-language broadcaster. He is also the founder and Chairman of CityView, a company that focuses on urban real estate.
