Will Sutton

Will Sutton, alongside Dr. Graham Doig, began building the first prototypes of what would become Seaflight Technologies Inc. in garages in February 2022. The company was formally established in June 2022 during Y Combinator’s summer batch. Sutton’s team, which boasts expertise in aviation, robotics, materials, and electric mobility, has been at the forefront of developing advanced ultra-high lift technology for electrified aircraft since April 2023. By December 2023, under Sutton’s leadership, Seaflight Technologies completed a year-long Sub-scale prototype program, achieving the world’s first successful remote-piloted ground effect flights over the open ocean in Australia.
