James Wells

James Wells serves as the Chief Commercial Officer, bringing a robust educational background with a Bachelor of Science in Biochemistry from the University of British Columbia. His professional journey includes significant experience as a venture capitalist, where he focused on the commercialization and financing of breakthrough hardware technologies, particularly in carbon capture, water treatment, and clean hydrogen production. Wells has co-founded three companies, leveraging founding investments to drive innovation and growth. His strategic insights and leadership have also led him to serve on numerous boards, contributing to a top quartile performing fund. Beyond his professional endeavors, Wells is committed to social causes, having raised funds for the Parkinson’s Society of Canada by cycling across the country.
