Franklin Graham

Franklin Graham, born on July 14, 1952, in the Appalachian Mountains outside Asheville, North Carolina, is the President and CEO of both Samaritan’s Purse and the Billy Graham Evangelistic Association. Raised as the fourth of five children to the renowned evangelist Billy Graham and Ruth Bell Graham, Franklin committed his life to Jesus Christ at the age of 22 during a solitary stay in a hotel room in Jerusalem. Influenced by a six-week mission trip to Asia with Bob Pierce, the founder of Samaritan’s Purse, he dedicated his career to assisting those affected by war, famine, disease, and natural disasters worldwide. Under his leadership, Samaritan’s Purse has extended its humanitarian aid to over 170 countries, focusing on the needs of the poor, sick, and suffering. Additionally, as an evangelist, Franklin Graham has conducted numerous crusades globally, continuing the legacy of his father. He is also an author of several best-selling books, including ‘The Name’ (2002), ‘Living Beyond the Limits’ (1998), and his autobiography, ‘Rebel With a Cause’ (1995).
