Dr. Philipp Aeby

Dr. Philipp Aeby serves as the Chief Executive Officer and co-founder of RepRisk, a company specializing in business conduct risk management. He is recognized for his expertise in integrating machine learning into risk management processes. Prior to his role at RepRisk, which he assumed in 2006, Dr. Aeby held various managerial positions across Europe at Amgen, a global biopharmaceutical company. He also engaged in a range of international projects with the Boston Consulting Group. Dr. Aeby began his professional journey as a visiting scientist at the International Center for Tropical Agriculture in Colombia. He holds a PhD in Environmental Physics and a Master’s degree in Climatology and Hydrology from the Swiss Federal Institute of Technology (ETH) in Zurich, Switzerland. His notable academic achievements include earning the ETH Medal for his exceptional research in applying neural networks to pattern recognition.
