Pat Cavanaugh

Pat Cavanaugh, the founder and CEO of Ready Nutrition, made notable decisions in his academic and athletic career, which reflect his dedication and resilience. Opting out of a full scholarship to play quarterback at a smaller Division 1 school, Cavanaugh chose to walk on and pay his own way at the University of Pittsburgh. His determination paid off when he earned a full scholarship to play basketball, despite initially joining the team as a walk-on. During his tenure, he was a 2-Time Captain and lettered all four years in basketball. Cavanaugh lives by the motto, ‘It’s not where you start, it’s where you finish,’ a principle that guided him through his athletic career and into his entrepreneurial venture. After college, he founded Ready Nutrition, focusing on providing quality sports nutrition products, leveraging his sports experience and leadership skills.
