Xingcan Cui

Xingcan Cui is a Software Engineer who has specialized in big data management, focusing particularly on distributed stream processing for more than ten years. He has made significant contributions to the Apache Flink project as a committer. His expertise extends to developing streaming applications, notably in roles such as at Wealthsimple, where he was responsible for the Flink infrastructure. During his tenure there, he led the development of critical streaming applications, including Oracle/Postgres CDC and data-lake ingestion pipelines. Prior to his industry experience, Xingcan was a Postdoctoral fellow at York University, where he further honed his skills in data processing technologies.
