Manuel Terranova co-founded Peaxy and serves as its CEO. Before establishing Peaxy, Terranova had a distinguished career at General Electric, where he managed a $5.2 billion portfolio as Senior Vice President of the Drilling and Production business. His responsibilities included overseeing commercial and regional resources globally and initiating a $200 million subsea equipment joint venture in sub-Saharan Africa. During his 13-year tenure at GE, Terranova spearheaded several successful software development projects, such as a GIS software business, remote pipeline monitoring, and SupportCentral, a knowledge-based portal that became the second most used application within the company. He served as the CIO of GE’s Oil & Gas division from 2002 to 2006. In 2010, he received the Chairman’s Award for Technology and Innovation and led the launch of a groundbreaking remotely enabled subsea control system, achieving record market-share gains. Since 2013, Terranova has been an active committee member for the National Academy of Sciences and the National Transportation Safety Board, contributing to the enhancement of offshore oil and gas operation safety.
