In March 2024, MicroVision announced a $150 million at-the-market equity facility to support its growth. The company is actively engaged in high-volume, top-tier global OEM RFQs for passenger vehicles and is expanding its revenue opportunities through direct sales in industrial markets. A partnership with Luxoft aims to enhance ADAS automated testing at scale.

For the first quarter of 2024, MicroVision reported revenue of $1.0 million, primarily from sales of MOVIA sensors to a global commercial trucking OEM, and ended the quarter with $73.1 million in cash and cash equivalents. The company announced these results on May 9, 2024. For the fourth quarter of 2023, MicroVision reported revenue of $5.1 million, driven by a contract with Microsoft.

MicroVision is actively involved in nine automotive RFQs, including some with the largest global OEMs. The integration of Ibeo’s perception software into MAVIN’s custom Application Specific Integrated Circuit (ASIC) allows MicroVision to offer both the sensor and perception software, providing a comprehensive lidar and perception software solution. The company also offers various perception interfaces, including object list, lane markings, free space, small obstacle detection, vehicle positioning, and road boundaries.
