Peter Ligman

Peter Ligman, who grew up on a farm in a small Midwestern town, co-founded Ligchine in 2007 and currently serves as the VP of Product Development. His early experiences as a concrete contractor in the early 2000s and his upbringing on a farm where he built his own labor-saving tools and machines significantly shaped his career. Notably, he created a prototype of a laser-guided boom screed using parts found on his family farm. This invention laid the groundwork for some of Ligchine’s key products. Outside of his professional life, Ligman is an avid builder and enjoys chasing Whitetail deer in southern Iowa.
