Stacey Hero

Stacey Hero serves as the Senior Vice President of Corporate and Business Development. At ElevateBio, where she was one of the first employees, she played a crucial role in acquiring several enabling platforms and technologies, including Life Edit Therapeutics. Her efforts were instrumental in supporting ElevateBio’s financings, which exceeded $1 billion, and she was integral in executing the company’s corporate and partnering strategies. Additionally, she supported various subsidiaries at ElevateBio in their operational and business development activities. Before her tenure at ElevateBio, Stacey spent four years at L.E.K. Consulting, working with biotech and pharma clients on high-impact projects such as M&A strategy and commercial/pipeline assessments. She holds a Ph.D. from Yale University, where she researched nanoparticle vaccines and the T cell response, and a B.S.E. in Biomedical Engineering from Duke University.
