Shelby Walker

Shelby Walker serves as the Senior Vice President and General Counsel, bringing a robust background in intellectual property law and biotechnology. She holds a Juris Doctor and a Master of Laws in intellectual property from the University of New Hampshire School of Law, complemented by master’s degrees in biotechnology and regulatory science from Johns Hopkins University. She completed her undergraduate studies with a B.S. in biotechnology from Worcester Polytechnic Institute. Shelby’s career includes significant roles such as the Senior Vice President and Head of Intellectual Property at CRISPR Therapeutics, General Counsel at Gingko Bioworks, and Vice President, Associate General Counsel, and Chief IP Counsel at Dyax Corporation. Additionally, she has held various intellectual property leadership positions at Novo Nordisk and ZymoGenetics, demonstrating her deep expertise and leadership in the field.
