Dr. Jeremy Frank

Dr. Jeremy Frank, originally from Pittsburgh, PA, is the CEO and founder of KCF Technologies, a company known for its pioneering advancements in wireless vibration sensing and machine health monitoring. A Penn State alumnus with a PhD in Mechanical Engineering, Frank’s early exposure to machinery safety in his father’s business laid the foundation for his career. Influenced by Dr. Gary Koopmann, he co-founded KCF Technologies in 2000, with a vision to eradicate unplanned downtime and enhance industrial safety. Under his leadership, KCF has become a global leader in predictive maintenance, actively monitoring over 80,000 machines across various industries. Frank holds current board and advisory roles at Pumps System Matter, ASME Industrial Advisory Board, and Penn State Launchbox and Hedy’s Garage. His past board roles include positions at the Hydraulic Institute, Innovative Manufacturers Center, and Eden Hill Conservancy. In 2011, he was honored with the Penn State Alumni Achievement Award. Frank has also been a keynote speaker at notable events such as the Ford Global Engineering Awards, Penn State College of Engineering Research Symposium, and Global Entrepreneurship Week.
