Duncan Haldane

Duncan Haldane co-founded JITX with the aim of developing better design tools for robotics, particularly focusing on origami robots during his time at the University of California, Berkeley, where he collaborated with Jonathan. His work in this field earned him a best-paper award from the IEEE International Conference on Intelligent Robots and Systems. Haldane, who holds a Guinness World Record, has been instrumental in various aspects of JITX’s growth, including sales, marketing, strategy, fundraising, and recruiting. He holds a Master of Science and a PhD in Mechanical Engineering from the University of California, Berkeley, and a Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering from Florida State University.
