Hi-Crush serves as a premier provider of proppant and logistics solutions to the North American petroleum industry. The company boasts a significant production capacity, producing 17.3 million tons per year of high-quality monocrystalline sand. It operates six production facilities strategically located with direct access to major U.S. railroads, enhancing its delivery capabilities. These facilities include four frac sand production sites in Wisconsin and two in-basin sand production sites in West Texas. The Wisconsin facilities are designed to accommodate unit train logistics, optimizing the transportation of Northern White sand, while the West Texas facilities produce Permian Pearl sand that can be efficiently trucked directly to wellsites.

Hi-Crush extends its offerings beyond sand production to include a suite of integrated services that support the petroleum industry’s logistical needs. These services encompass proppant supply, midstream distribution management, and advanced logistics and wellsite operations, managed through its subsidiary, Pronghorn. Additionally, Hi-Crush offers silo equipment sales and leasing through NexStage and provides a proprietary software, PropDispatch, designed for efficient management of proppant logistics, dispatch, and inventory monitoring. This comprehensive approach positions Hi-Crush as a critical player in supporting the operational efficiency of petroleum extraction and production processes.
