Eric Schuur, with a distinguished career spanning over 25 years, serves as the Chief Executive Officer and Co-Founder, bringing a wealth of experience from his roles as a scientist, manager, and consultant. He holds a PhD in Experimental Pathology from the UCLA School of Medicine and completed an NIH-sponsored post-doctoral fellowship at the Scripps Research Institute. Eric has profound scientific expertise, having worked at renowned institutions such as UCLA, Stanford, and the Scripps Research Institute. His career includes managing preclinical and clinical research teams at early-stage companies like Calydon, Inc. and Asthmatx, Inc. Additionally, Eric has provided consulting services in medical and scientific strategy, communications, and information management for companies across various fields including regenerative medicine, gene therapy, genomics, diagnostics, and biomarkers. He also serves as an adviser to the Stanford School of Medicine SPARK Program and is a mentor in the Stanford University Office of Technology Licensing Innovation Farm Team Program.
