Woody Keppel

Woody Keppel, an event alchemist, has significantly contributed to the cultural landscape of Vermont through the establishment of notable events and venues such as Vermont’s Festival of Fools, The Feast of Fools, The Hawaiian Vaudeville Festival, and the artist retreat & concert venue known as Mt. Foolery. Beyond his role in creating these celebrated festivals, Keppel has dedicated time to mentoring middle and high school students and engaging with the elderly in Vermont, reflecting his commitment to community service. His involvement with the Hack Club community has further broadened his perspective, reinforcing his belief in the power of collective endeavor and support. Keppel’s philosophy emphasizes the importance of guiding and inspiring one another, encapsulated in his motto, ‘It’s a great adventure we’re all on, and we’re here to light the way for each other.
