In 2019, Gilero opened a new manufacturing assembly facility in Pittsboro, NC, a design center in Southern California, and expanded Medacys, a joint venture toolmaking and medical injection molding facility in Shenzhen, China. At the end of 2021, Gilero opened a design center in Chicago, and in early 2022, a manufacturing facility in Tijuana, Mexico. The company plans to add design centers in New Jersey and Ireland. Gilero uses high-precision plastic injection molding and injection mold tool building equipment and provides a range of testing services for medical devices and drug delivery systems. The company also offers design and engineering expertise, as well as strategy and innovation services for medical device and combination product development.
