Erik Bursch

Erik Bursch serves as the Vice President of Product Technology. He has a notable history at Gannett, the largest news publisher in the United States, where he was instrumental in implementing Fastly’s Instant Purge functionality. Bursch significantly improved deployment times by enabling Gannett developers to directly access their own configurations. He also built a custom load-balancing solution using edge dictionaries, VCL snippets, and backend health checks.
