Andy Lowery

Andy Lowery has established himself as a distinguished leader with extensive experience spanning three decades in high-pressure roles within the U.S., and internationally. He is a retired Lieutenant Commander of the U.S. Navy and holds a bachelor’s degree in Electrical and Computer Engineering from the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign. Lowery’s professional journey includes significant contributions to the field of technology, particularly in wearable systems. He co-founded and led RealWear, Inc., a company at the forefront of industrial head-up-display wearable systems. Prior to that, he co-founded Daqri, where he was instrumental in pioneering mixed reality wearables for enterprise use. His corporate tenure includes a pivotal role at Raytheon, where from 2008 to 2014, he served as the Business Area Chief Engineer for Electronic Warfare Systems. Earlier, from 2004 to 2008, he led the high-power amplifier products at M/A-COM. Throughout his career, Lowery has been recognized as a thought leader on the application of technology across various industries, demonstrating a profound impact on the sectors he has engaged with.
