Gregor Morela

Gregor Morela, born and raised in Slovenia, is a highly experienced Chief Financial Officer (CFO) with a robust background in finance and economics, holding a degree from the University of Ljubljana. His career commenced in public accounting at PwC, followed by senior finance roles in multiple sectors including payments, software, and technology. Morela has been instrumental in enhancing financial operations and driving revenue growth in several companies. Notably, he was pivotal at Smartlinx, where his leadership in scaling financial operations culminated in the company’s sale to Lone View Capital. Additionally, he served as the CFO of 2Checkout, a key player in the payments space, which was acquired by Verifone under his financial stewardship. Morela also contributed to a successful IPO for a $300M software company on the Nasdaq. His credentials include being a Certified Public Accountant (CPA).
