Jessica Guzmán

Jessica Guzmán, a Product Owner, participated in the Y Combinator accelerator program in San Francisco in 2020. That same year, she launched one of the first corporate credit cards in Mexico. In 2022, Jessica raised $25 million in debt financing through TrueFi, a DeFi lending platform developed by TrustToken, to fund corporate credit lines. These credit lines are uniquely backed by capital supported by stablecoins and blockchain technology. Her successful pilot loan with TrueFi capital led to a more than 50% increase in her credit portfolio in just one month. Jessica’s initiatives focus on empowering Mexican entrepreneurs by providing them with better access to working capital through innovative financial tools like smart credit lines, corporate credit cards, and a digital payments platform. Her efforts are supported by Y Combinator and top investors from Silicon Valley and Latin America, aiming to transform business standards in digital banking across the region. Jessica serves a diverse clientele, ranging from tech-based startups to traditional businesses throughout Mexico, and has processed over 1 billion MXN in transfers and payments.
