Don Yount

Don Yount currently serves as the Chief Executive Officer and President of Critical Mention. He joined the company following his role as president and CFO of Corente, Inc., a cloud networking company that was acquired by Oracle Corp. Prior to this, Yount held the position of executive vice president, COO, and board member at TVI Corp. (NASD:TVIN), a supplier of health and safety technology devices. His earlier career includes serving as an operating principal at Mid-Atlantic Venture Funds and holding executive positions in corporate strategy and finance at several high-tech firms in the telecom, datacom, software development, and media industries. Yount earned a BS in Business Administration and an MBA from the University of North Carolina, where he was awarded the Richard H. Jenrette Fellowship and recognized as a Dean’s Scholar. He has also served as chair of the Early Stage East Venture Conference and was a board member of the Greater Philadelphia Venture Group, now known as PACT.
