Adam Sullivan

Adam Sullivan serves as the President and Chief Executive Officer of Core Scientific, a leader in high-value compute and data center hosting. Under his leadership, the company has strategically extended its business model to include hosting services for customers engaged in High-Performance Computing (HPC). Core Scientific has recently leased a data center in Austin, TX, previously occupied by Hewlett Packard, which is expected to provide substantial growth opportunities and contribute positively to the company’s earnings in 2024. This new facility will deliver up to 16 MW of capacity to host CoreWeave’s infrastructure, continuing a partnership that began in 2019. Core Scientific operates over 300 MW of energized infrastructure across seven data centers in five U.S. states, all strategically located near major metropolitan areas with access to high-bandwidth telecommunications, essential for supporting GPU cloud compute workloads. The company has outlined a growth plan that includes expanding its bitcoin mining infrastructure by 372 MW at its Texas data centers, aiming to achieve more than 20 exahash of mining capacity. Notably, Core Scientific’s self-mining business has outperformed other North American listed bitcoin miners in production volumes over the past three years and consistently delivers higher hash rate utilization compared to its peers.
