Brian Iacoviello

Brian Iacoviello serves as the Director of Scientific Affairs and is an Assistant Professor in the Department of Psychiatry at the Icahn School of Medicine at Mount Sinai. He also holds the position of Scientific Advisor at Click Therapeutics. He is a co-inventor of the Emotional Faces Memory Task (EFMT) and has been the Principal Investigator on the NIH SBIR grant for Clickotine®. Iacoviello has published research on cognitive-emotional training exercises aimed at treating mood and anxiety disorders. His work has been presented at the Society of Biological Psychiatry Annual Scientific Convention and published in reputable journals such as npj Digital Medicine and the Journal of Affective Disorders. Additionally, he conducted a brain imaging study on the effects of EFMT on key brain regions involved in Major Depressive Disorder (MDD) and collaborated with the University of New South Wales on a study that combined EFMT with transcranial direct current stimulation (tDCS).
