Vishu Mishra

Vishu Mishra has built a robust career over 10.5 years, transitioning from a senior research analyst at the Center for Study of Science, Technology and Policy (CSTEP) to a Program Manager specializing in Knowledge Management and Communications. During his nearly seven-year tenure at CSTEP, Mishra delved into projects concerning mini-grids, socio-economic transformations, and the application of decision-making theories in public-private partnerships. His work also covered the feasibility and use cases of emerging technologies like green hydrogen and battery energy storage, as well as power sector reforms and technology assessment frameworks. Mishra played a pivotal role in the Energy and Power Sector group, supported by the AP SED Grant and Bloomberg philanthropic Grant, where he led stakeholder engagements across several Indian states and contributed to a mini-grid project in Odisha that won an innovation award in 2019. With a Bachelor of Engineering degree in Electrical and Electronics from Manipal University and a professional certificate in project management, Mishra also excels in technical writing, having been extensively published and featured in over 20 news columns during his time at CSTEP.
