Sowmya Jain

Sowmya Jain completed her undergraduate studies in Psychology at the University of Delhi and later pursued an MBA in Rural Management from the Institute of Rural Management Anand (IRMA). During her summer internship at the International Water Management Institute (IWMI), she developed a keen interest in public policy, particularly focusing on the Jal Jeevan Mission and enhancing the efficiency of irrigation in agriculture. Sowmya has also served as a State Coordinator for the Project Management Unit in the Ministry of Social Justice and Empowerment, where she was responsible for implementing and monitoring projects across eight states, with a significant focus on Andhra Pradesh and Telangana. Her role involved extensive coordination and management, ensuring the effective execution of social justice initiatives.
