Parul Agarwal

Parul Agarwal is a seasoned development professional who currently leads the Outcome Measurement function at the Centre for Effective Governance of Indian States (CEGIS). Her role focuses on institutionalizing an outcome-oriented approach to decision making in governance. With over a decade of experience in the field of measurement and evaluation, Agarwal has a solid background in assessing the impacts and outcomes of various programs and policies. Prior to her current position at CEGIS, she worked with LEAD at Krea University (formerly IFMR), where she contributed to research and analysis in development studies. Additionally, Agarwal has served as a consultant for Women’s World Banking, further enhancing her expertise in economic development and financial inclusion. She holds a Bachelor’s degree in Economics from the University of Delhi and a Master’s in Rural Management from Xavier Institute of Management, Bhubaneswar.
