Omkar Tanaji Deshmukh

Omkar Tanaji Deshmukh completed his MA in Public Policy And Governance from Azim Premji University in Bengaluru. During his studies, he engaged in a significant project aimed at enhancing drinking water service delivery in peri-urban areas of Bengaluru. He also explored the involvement of Self Help Group women in the Public Distribution System in Madhya Pradesh, studying their role in governance and service delivery. Additionally, Omkar interned with the Rural Development and Panchayat Raj department of Karnataka, where he conducted an assessment study on rural governance and the implementation of government orders in the Bidar district. His academic and practical experiences have equipped him with a deep understanding of public policy issues related to rural development and governance.
