Ankit Chatri

Ankit Chatri plays a pivotal role in liaising with the Government of Tamil Nadu, particularly working closely with the Finance Department to enhance governance frameworks. Prior to this, he was an Associate Director at Athena Infonomics, where he spearheaded the urban portfolio, focusing on improving urban governance and municipal service delivery across South Asia and Africa. His work has encompassed leading projects on critical issues such as water and sanitation, and affordable housing, all at the nexus of governance, data, and policy. These projects were commissioned by various government entities, as well as multilateral, bi-lateral agencies, and large foundations. Ankit holds a Master’s degree in Economics from the University of Hyderabad and an M.Phil. in Development and Planning from IIT Bombay.
