Al Young

Al Young serves as the Senior Director of Quality Assurance and is an ASQ Certified Professional in Quality and Reliability Engineering. With a career spanning over two decades, Young has developed a deep expertise in the medical device sector, particularly with Class II and Class III products that are commercialized both in the US and international markets. His professional history includes significant roles in quality assurance, where he has been instrumental in establishing, enhancing, and maintaining quality assurance programs and systems that adhere to ISO 13485, FDA Quality System Regulations, and EU regulations. Throughout his career, Young has been a key player in the successful commercial launch of new medical device products. He has held various leadership and technical positions at prominent medical device companies, including Johnson & Johnson, Medtronic, Covidien, and iCAD.
