Max Boonen

Max Boonen, currently serving as the Group CEO of B2C2, has played a significant role in the strategic expansion of the company. He began his career at Natixis before moving to Goldman Sachs, where he met B2C2’s co-founder. Boonen’s tenure at Morgan Stanley as the Global Head of Macro Electronic Trading and his involvement in the Morgan Stanley Securities Digital Currencies working group marked his deep dive into cryptocurrency trading. He notably spearheaded the establishment of Crypto trading within Morgan Stanley’s Fixed Income division. Joining B2C2 in September 2022, initially as the EMEA CEO and later succeeding Nicola White as Group CEO, Boonen has been instrumental in guiding B2C2 through key strategic decisions, including the adoption of over-the-counter trading and the expansion into the Japanese market. His early investment in B2C2 and continuous strategic insights have been pivotal to the company’s growth.
