Chris Valcke

Chris Valcke serves as the Chief Product Development Officer, having joined his current role in January 2022 as the head of worldwide research and development. His expertise lies in product lifecycle management, particularly within the medical device and diagnostic industry. Valcke has a proven track record of successfully commercializing novel products from concept through development and launch. His work has significantly contributed to advancements in cancer diagnosis, genetics, blood donation screening, hospital-acquired infections, and emergency medicine. Prior to his current role, he held leadership positions at Invetech and Roche/Ventana Medical Systems. Valcke’s academic background includes a Ph.D. in Electrical Engineering and an MS in System Science from the University of California, Los Angeles, in addition to a bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering from KU Leuven in Belgium.
