Michael Matthews

Michael Matthews serves as a Senior Clinical Trial Specialist at AOA Dx, where he plays a pivotal role in the OVERT clinical study aimed at transforming women’s health. He brings a wealth of experience from his previous roles as a clinical research coordinator and monitor, utilizing these skills to boost trial engagement and enhance the diversity and efficacy of enrollment processes. Michael holds a BA in Biology from Washington University in St. Louis, where he was also a Division III varsity swimmer. His early career included a stint as an Emergency Medical Technician, providing him with a robust understanding of complex scientific and medical processes. Driven by AOA Dx’s mission, Michael is committed to advancing preventive healthcare and improving accessibility to early screening and diagnostics. Outside of his professional life, he enjoys walking his yellow lab named Murph, competing in triathlons, and writing music.
