Ankur Chopra

Ankur Chopra serves as the Vice President of Flight Dynamics and Controls at Albedo, located in Denver, Colorado. Since joining the team in 2023, he has played a pivotal role in the development and integration of space vehicle testbeds and satellites. Ankur is instrumental in expanding Albedo’s capacity to produce satellites and is deeply involved in the creation of ultra-high precision optical satellites. His responsibilities include rigorous testing, alignment, and stability checks to ensure satellite performance. Ankur actively participates in Albedo’s semi-annual on-site meetings, which focus on team bonding and enhancing company culture. The facility where he works is equipped with clean rooms designed for satellite assembly to prevent contaminants, and it includes new precision test equipment for satellite quality assurance. This facility can accommodate the construction of 3-4 satellites simultaneously. Additionally, the office space is designed to foster collaboration among local employees and to maintain connectivity with remote teams, reflecting Albedo’s remote-friendly work approach that combines hands-on hardware development with the benefits of a modern remote workplace.
