With over 30 years of experience, AeroCare offers seamless bed-to-bed medical transportation, coordinating with discharging and receiving facilities, and liaising with patients' insurance carriers to ensure continuity of care. The company also provides ground transportation at both flight ends, staffed with nurses and paramedics trained in Basic Life Support (BLS), Advanced Life Support (ALS), and Critical Care (CC).

AeroCare's Special Operations Group (SOG)

Launched in 1998, AeroCare's Special Operations Group (SOG) is dedicated to the transportation of organs and organ transplant teams. The SOG works closely with major transplant centers and local Organ Procurement Organizations in the Chicago area. The group uses specially equipped Chevrolet Suburbans to transport organ procurement teams, ensuring the safe and timely delivery of organs. This specialized service includes a pre-plan option for organ transplant patients to expedite the process when an organ becomes available. Additionally, the SOG has completed 5,532 organ flights, underscoring its critical role in the transplant community.

AeroCare's Air Ambulance Missions

With 8,281 air ambulance missions completed, AeroCare is a trusted provider of emergency medical transportation. All flights are operated under FAA Part 135 Air Carriers, although AeroCare itself does not own or operate aircraft. The company offers 24/7 contact with a communications center to manage these missions efficiently. Medical crews onboard are trained in ACLS and PALS algorithms, critical care physiology, and emergent pharmacological agents, ensuring high-quality medical care during transport.
