Ou Mao

Ou Mao serves as the Vice President of Research and Development, bringing over 30 years of expertise in R&D, product development, and customer support in the battery and materials sector. He holds a Ph.D. in Physics from McGill University and a Master’s Degree from the Chinese Academy of Sciences. Mao has conducted post-doctoral research at Dalhousie University in collaboration with 3M company. His professional background includes roles as VP & Senior Director of R&D and IP for a leading battery materials supplier. Trained in condensed matter physics and manufacturing engineering, Mao has extensive international experience at Silicon Valley startups and major consumer and automotive battery companies. He is the (co-)inventor of over 40 issued and over 20 pending patents and has authored 40 referred journal publications.
