Mark Kraynak

Mark Kraynak is a founding partner at Acrew, where he has demonstrated significant expertise in early and later stage investments. His investment portfolio includes notable companies such as At-Bay, Aqua Security, CipherTrace, Coin Metrics, Edge Impulse, Silverfort, and System in the early stages, and Aqua Security, Cato Networks, Exabeam, and Vanta in the later stages. Prior to joining Acrew, he was an Entrepreneur in Residence at Aspect Ventures before becoming a full-time investor by the end of 2017. Kraynak spent nearly 13 years at Imperva, engaging in various roles across marketing, product, corporate development, and strategy. Additionally, he has served as an advisor to several tech companies including Exabeam, Indegy, Kloudless, Trustar, and Aqua Security. Beyond his professional endeavors, Kraynak is a trained poet and former teacher with a unique hobby of aging his own bourbon in his basement. He also possesses the remarkable ability to recite all 1100 words of ‘The Love Song of J Alfred Prufrock’ while playing pool, darts, shufflepuck, or any other bar game.
