Charlie Liao

Charlie Liao is an investor with extensive experience in strategic investment activities and consulting. He previously worked at Two Sigma, a quantitative hedge fund, where he was involved in special projects and initiatives that included private markets strategy and competitive intelligence. Liao also spent time at McKinsey, focusing on growth strategy and mergers and acquisitions across various sectors such as real estate, asset management, pharmaceuticals, and payments. He co-founded an F&B experience startup and actively participated in Northeastern University’s venture accelerator, drawing inspiration from his cohort’s dedication to making impactful changes. Additionally, Liao managed a student-staffed consulting group that provided services to local and campus startups. Outside of his professional life, he is a passionate gamer and enjoys snowboarding and producing electronic music.
