Edward Walker

Edward Walker holds a Ph.D. and serves as the Director of Protein Therapeutics. He specializes in the design of protein therapeutics and plays a pivotal role in integrating massive computational data, laboratory automation through robotics, and multimodal AI models to enhance drug discovery processes. His work is crucial in addressing the challenges associated with both small and large molecule drug discovery through an innovative Input-Transform-Output platform. This platform utilizes a state-of-the-art robotics-driven lab facility to design and scale wet lab ground truth biochemical, cellular, and pharmacological in vitro assays. Furthermore, Walker evaluates the drug-likeness of small and large molecules using various ADME assays and establishes pharmacokinetic/pharmacodynamic (PK/PD) relationships, validating them in vivo for molecule candidates. He collaborates within a team that offers diverse engagement models, including Co-Discovery Partnerships, Co-Engineering Partnerships, Platform-as-a-Service, and Asset Licensing, to advance therapeutic development.
